Everest Panorama trek is a medium graded trek in the foothills of the Kumbu region of Nepal. It is a 11 days program a combination of few days in the fascinating city of Kathmandu and 08 days in the mountain.
As its name suggests, the 8 days excursion promises to deliver some spectacular panoramic views of Mt. Everest, the highest peak of the world; Mt. Ama Dablam, another marvel of the Himalayas; Lhotse; Themserku and others.
The best thing about the Everest panorama trek is that the trail allows you to gain insights into the Sherpa culture and mountain views without having to face all of the inconveniences that come with high altitude. Everest Panorama trek is ideal for those having a limited time or for those who wants to avoid the inconvenience that comes with high altitude
First two nights will be spent in Kathmandu for preparation of the trek and exploring the interesting ancient palace, religion sites and local markets. Then we take a 35 minutes flight to Lukla the starting point of our Everest Panorama trek. After we ascend slowly trekking up to the colorful and vibrant Sherpa capital, Namche Bazaar passing through colourful prayer wheels, swinging bridges, several Sherpa villages, magnificent forest of rhododendrons, magnolia and giant firs. Then from the famous Namche bazzar we further climb up to beautiful Sherpa village of Khumjung, cross the Mong La Pass (3,975 m) to Tengboche on a less crowded trail with grand view of Mt. Ama Dablam. From Tengboche we absolutely have superb panoramic view of the Himalayas including the mighty Everest. Also here we will have an opportunity to visit the old and the most important monastery of the Khumbu region Tengboche Monastery. Later we retreat back to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.

You will be warmly greeted by our representative at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu upon your arrival. After escorting to your designated hotel in the city you’ll be assisted in checking into your room. Before checking in, the timing and location for a briefing session concerning your trip will be arranged. After such briefing, which will include a quick check of your personal trekking gears by our experts, you’ll have the afternoon/evening of that day all for yourself.

In the morning after breakfast preparation of the trek then the city guide will pick you up and then drive you to SWAYABUNATH stupa which is perched atop a hill on the western edge of Kathmandu valley. This is one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist Chaityas said to be 2,000 years old. After we drive 18 km east to an ancient palace of BHAKTAPUR filled with monuments, most terra-cotta with carved wood columns, palaces and temples. We end our day with a visit to Nepal’s most sacred Hindu shrine PASHUPATINATH. We will have some time to do last minute shopping before leaving for the trek.

Our trek program commences today with an exciting 35 minutes mountain flight to Lukla (2,800 m) from where we start walking through the beautiful mountainous Sherpa land. 5 hours walk today to the village of Monjo (2,840 m) passes through different villages, crosses suspension bridges over Dudh Kosi river and goes through magnificent forest of rhododendron, magnolia and fir. On the way you can have a wonderful view Kusum Kangru peak (6,367 m) regarded as one of the most difficult trekking peak in Nepal.

The walk today to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) will comprise of around 4 hours. Initially the trail is gentle but gets you involved with high and long climbs at later stages actually taking you from a safe altitude to an area which can pose risks of altitude sickness. Hence, avoiding exhaustion by taking your time and moving slowly is advised. Trail passes through enormous granite bluff, carved with mantras in huge Tibetan characters, crosses Dudh Kosi river on a suspension bridge then walk through pine forest to famous Namche Bazaar for an overnight stay.

Today after breakfast we take a short and relaxing walk to Khumjung, situated at the base of the holy mountain Khumbiyela. This is around 3 hours of easy walk. The walk will be through Khunde village then goes upto Hillary Memorial Viewpoint which offers 360 degree views over Mt. Ama Dablam, Pachermo Peak. Then we follow the obvious cobbled trail east for 15 minutes through potato fields to Khumjung for an overnight stay. Here we will visit Yak Farm, School built by Sir Edmund Hillary, scalp of Yeti which is another legendary quest.

This day we will change the course by taking bit of a less crowded trail and explore the lower section of Gokyo valley with the most amazing setting. We will also cross a small pass Mong La (3,975 m) which provides a superb mountain views. The village is said to be the birthplace of Lama Sange Dorje, the saint who introduced Buddhism to the Khumbu region. Then we walk to Phortse Village just below the Gompa. This village since it lies on a bit off a main trekking trails so it looks more of a Sherpa village. Overnight at the Lodge

Our journey today is to Tyangboche, famous for panoramic mountain views. It is a journey of about 6 hours and passes through bit of off beaten trail to the valley of mountain goats Pangboche. From Pangboche you have a great view of Mt. Amadablam one of the most beautiful mountain in the Everest while having lunch. Then walk down to Tyangboche. This semi circuit trek through the elevated mountain cliff trail is simply mesmerizing with picturesque outlook.
In the afternoon, we can pay a visit to the famous Tengboche Monastery which is one of the largest and active monasteries in the Kumbhu region.

Today get some dose of the superb panoramic view of the Himalayas (weather permitting) while having breakfast then take a long walk down to Monjo. We will have a break at Namche Bazzaar for Lunch then we retrace our step back. The trail goes downhill till Dudh Kosi putting stress to your knee. After the trail crosses the high suspension bridge, then the path goes level till Jorsale and then climbs upto Monjo for our overnight stay at the lodge.

Today is the last day of our walk down to Lukla. The trail goes down the valley then passes through villages of Phakding and Chopling to reach Chaumrikharka. After we begin the final climb of the trip to Lukla for an overnight stay at the lodge.
